I built Paply because I watched the same problem play out repeatedly: smart founders building real businesses, totally in the dark about their people costs.
Payroll was a Sunday-night nightmare. Salary benchmarking was a conversation with a recruiter who had an incentive to tell them they were underpaying. NI savings were theoretical — something the accountant mentioned once but never made actionable.
